Sound & Vision- A Charlottesville Tribute to David Bowie to Benefit UVA Cancer Center

David Bowie was a modern renaissance man, whose groundbreaking approach to composition & performance was as unparalleled as his far reaching impact that knows no end.  A true champion of “Sound & Vision,” or as Nile Rogers put it, he's “the Picasso of Rock & Roll.”
Last week’s news of his passing was difficult to take for many, including the Charlottesville community of musicians.  
The best way to express our loss is to come together and pay respects & tribute to Bowie’s trailblazing, shapeshifting, genre & gender bending career.  Even better, proceeds from the night will benefit the UVA Cancer Center.

Charlottesville celebrates the man who influenced generations with his art & music.
New Boss and Borrowed Beams of Light along with members of Secret Storm, We Are Star Children, Ships in the Night, Shagwüf, XPS and more will play songs that span the decades when Bowie, Ziggy Stardust & The Thin White Duke ruled the world.
