An Evening & Screening with Todd Snider
Partially Reserved Seated Show
Todd Snider will be hitting the road again this spring, but this time with a multi-media show starring the wit, honesty and spontaneity he’s best known for.
Kicking the show off will be a 30 minute preview of East Nashville Tonight. Directed by the Barnes Brothers, the film was originally intended to be a documentary on Snider, but soon turned into what has been best described as a stoner musical.
Todd will read from his upcoming book, “I Never Met A Story I Didn’t Like (Mostly True Tall Tales) to be released April 29th via Da Capo Press. The book features insightful and often hilarious classic Todd storytelling with chapter titles such as “Talkin’ Margaritaville Blues,” “I’m Tight With Slash,” Jerry Jeff’s Balls” and “Drugs.” Following the reading, Todd will answer questions and take song requests.
Todd breaks it down like this… "Ok Buckaroos, so here’s the plan: First we show 30 minutes of our 70 minute stoner digest movie, East Nashville Tonight with Elizabeth Cook. Then I’m gonna come out to some kick ass podium thing (that I haven’t made yet, but will) and read a chapter from the book I wrote without Peter Cooper’s help. We’ll put two microphones in the aisle, and I’ll either take a question or song request (not both). After that, I’ll read a poem I composed that day. Then we crank the Hard Working Americans album and have an after show dance party.”
