Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal "Culture Couture" Fashion Performance

The Culture Couture Fashion Performance will showcase the beautiful textiles, garments and accessories made by Indigenous artists for the Australian fashion industry in the past several years. The performance will have multiple components:

- a segment of couture garments designed, fabricated and modeled by U.Va. students, using Indigenous Australian textiles

- a segment of couture garments designed by Indigenous Australian designers

- a segment of accessories made from Indigenous Australian textiles or designed by Indigenous Australian designers

- a performance by Indigenous singing group Biliirr

- food catered by C & O Restaurant

Tickets to a VIP reception to benefit the Kluge-Ruhe Collection are also available for $75 ($70 for Kluge-Ruhe members), and come with the following perks:
• Early entry at 6 pm
• The best seats in the house
• The opportunity to mingle with the U.Va. students and designers involved in the project
• A specialty cocktail and Australian-themed heavy hors d’oeuvres
